Reeling in Wahoo and 2012

I am happy to report that one of my favorite fishing families - the Langdales - did a bang up job on the water this week.  William, caught his very first Wahoo!  Isabel brought the Yellowtail into the boat for us.  And, Evelyn reeled in a rare Golden Grouper.  These Langdales really know what they're doing!  Way to go ~ so proud of you.
The Ragen Family made their way to the Abacos this week from Savannah, GA for another amazing time fishing on Five Star. We got a few Wahoo and a good bit of tuna.  Any day on the water catching fish with friends makes for an awesome day!
I'm thrilled that I was able to spend some time with the Healey Family this past week as well.  What an amazing family and always a great time.
Stay tuned ... more pictures to come from this week's adventures!
Folks, raise your Kalik Gold (or your Golden Grouper) to the new year!  It's almost here! 2011 was great and I expect that 2012 will be even better!  The website is a huge success and it is because of you.  With gratitude, my wish for you in the new year is lots of health, happiness, and adventure!

Thanks for making the 2011 Christmas trip to the Abacos a memorable time, T! I'll never forget William's huge grin when he returned to the dock to report you put him on his first Wahoo! You are the BEST teacher and a GREAT friend to the Langdales. As for the rare, golden grouper...they must be magical, as well...everyone needs to understand that T was telling us about the golden grouper and within hours, one was on my line, crazy! As for the monster fish that swam in the hole and gave me a fight...too funny to forget, and we'll just leave it at that!!! Thanks for introducing us to the Healy Family, great family! All my best in 2012, and happy reeling! Evelyn

A great Fishing Family deserves a great Captain and you are a great Captain and one of the nicest people you will ever meet, just like your dad!
