Boats, Beer, and Babes

Despite the rainy weather the crowd of people was thick at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show this past weekend.  People made their way around the convention center and docks looking at all the boats for sale.  Many spent time inside the tents staying dry and taking a peek at all the newest gadgets for us captains, boaters, and fisherman out there.  I took a look at the Bahama 41 and really like this boat.  It's clean, has a spacious layout, and a super dry ride.  If you're in the market for a larger boat be sure to check out Hatteras and Viking.  They make some excellent boats.  The Hatteras GT has sleek, beautiful lines.  Our friends, Pam and Joey Cianciarulo, from Boat, Blinds, and Shades are in our opinion the best at what they do.  If you need your boat outfitted to give you your privacy or protection from the sun, they are the ones to turn to.  Tigress Outriggers & Gears had some really cool aluminum work with LED lights built in.  They can customize anything you can dream of.  High Tide lifts is stepping up their game with quieter, faster motors.  Took a look at Seven Marine's 557 horsepower outboard engines.  Although they're pretty cool to see, the jury's still out on this one folks.  I have to say I'm definitely skeptical about this.  All in all the boat show was a success for all involved.  Boats got sold, new products made their debut, and friends from all around had the chance to catch up on old time and make plans for new adventures.  Can't wait to do it again next year.  As always, thanks for the support friends!  Keep checking out the website for updates, new pics and videos, and of course the latest weather forecasts.  A special thanks to The Schofields for showing us a great time on Saturday!
